CRCA Membership Categories & Benefits

Membership Categories

CRCA Members range in size and types of businesses involved in the Roofing, Waterproofing and Dampproofing Industry. No matter what your size or type of business, you’ll find value in becoming a CRCA member!

CRCA four classes of membership are:

  • Contractor Membership: CRCA Contractor Members are licensed and insured roofing contractors by the State of Illinois.
  • Associate Membership: CRCA Associate Members are companies that provide products and service to roofing contractors. These types of companies may be: Distributors, Manufacturers, Manufacturers Representatives, Roof Consultants and Architects, and other Business Services.
  • Honorary Membership: Honorary Membership shall be determined by a recommendation of the Membership Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Friends of CRCA: CRCA membership may be granted to contractor companies located outside of the CRCA Service Area to provide additional support and resources to CRCA

ADVOCACY

CRCA provides members with regulatory representation that only large corporations can afford. CRCA Committees work with the elected officials, City of Chicago, Local Code Officials, State of Illinois, International Code Council, NFPA, IIBEC, CSI, OSHA, ALA, AIA, and many other key influences to help impact industry standards, regulations and legislation.

EDUCATION

CRCA delivers members cutting edge industry education on a variety of topics such as: safety, codes, legal and technical. These programs help keep members in the lead – to help this and future generations of employees to ensure the success of their companies and the roofing industry.

CRCA connects members and facilitates conversations that may lead to new opportunities and help members develop best practices. Through industry events, trade shows, online member listings, committee participation opportunities and much more, CRCA Members become industry leaders!

CRCA offers members assistance through resources that help market their businesses and assist with technical and code issues. CRCA does this through staff resources, industry relationships, member directory, technical research and CRCA communications.

CRCA is the leading trade association of roofing and waterproofing contractors in Illinois.
