Join fellow CRCA members for annual CRCA Board Elections, networking, lunch, and a presentation on workplace violence presented by Mark A. Lies II, Partner at Seyfarth Shaw LLP.

Presentation Details

Attendees will learn:

1. The four types of potential workplace violence
2. How to identify behavior of employees and third party individuals that can predict workplace violence
3. An employer's legal obligations to prevent workplace violence under OSHA and Illinois law
4. Potential civil and criminal liability of employers and managers for failure to prevent workplace violence
5. How to discipline and terminate employees and avoid workplace violence
6. How to develop a workplace violence prevention program
7. Active Shooter Response.

4 Tabletop sponsorships will be available to Associate Member Firms at $250 each. Along with a tabletop during the networking portion of the event, those who sponsor will be featured in all event promotion. Note: Each company will only be allowed to sponsor 1 tabletop per year unless spots are available less than 1 week prior to the event.
