Elens & Maichin Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. is a commercial, industrial, and institutional roofing and sheet metal company serving the Chicagoland area for over 55 years. As a commercial roofing contractor, we install many different types of roof systems, including install Built-Up, Modified, Single Ply, Green, and Architectural Metal roofs. We are focused on providing our customers with quality workmanship and professionalism.

Elens & Maichin was founded in 1954 and incorporated in 1976. The company continues to operate out of Joliet where it all began. While the company still carries the founder’s name, it became a family-owned business in 1985.

Elens & Maichin is currently a second-generation family owned business. The business is owned and operated by Mark Duffy and Luke Duffy who have over 30 years of combined experience in the roofing and sheet metal industry. Elens & Maichin was previously owned and operated by E.J. Sukley and Donald Duffy who enjoyed many years as business partners prior to their retirement.
