Founded by Earle and Dorothy Runnion in 1975, Runnion Equipment Company sells, services and rents new and used truck mounted cranes and related equipment in Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana and Southeast Wisconsin. Our association with the Roofing Industry in Chicago goes back to our beginnings. We maintain a strong local and nationwide presence by routinely buying and selling equipment across North America and often, overseas.

Our primary product is the truck-mounted, telescoping or articulated crane with an emphasis on the National Crane product. The National Crane division of Manitowoc is the number one manufacturer of truck-mounted cranes, (also called “boom trucks”), in the United States.
In addition, we represent Tadano and Manitex telescoping and Palfinger knuckle boom cranes. Duralift and Sky Crane Bucket Trucks and Aerial Lifts, along with Trail King Trailers and Crayler Truck Mounted Forklifts round out our product line!
