Patty Keating and her husband Bill served as CRCA’s management team from 1969 until Bill’s death in 1977. From 1977 to 2004, she assumed this role, becoming one of the first female Executive Directors of construction contracting associations in the United States. She greatly exceeded in this role with a keen eye for facilitating the association’s goals through relationship building, industry knowledge and a great deal of hard work. She was highly respected by CRCA members during her 34-year tenure.
This award will be given to an individual who also exemplifies what it means to support the roofing industry through their willingness to volunteer their time and expertise to raise the professionalism of CRCA and the roofing industry. Like the Clyde Scott Award, this award will not always be given annually. Instead, it will be awarded when industry individuals are identified that exemplify the respective award criteria and spirit of these honors.
