Here’s some information about how to determine what type of work a roofing and waterproofing firm may perform, and what functions each part of the support chain provides to a particular audience.

Contractor Services – CRCA Member Professional Roofing Contractors provide services in all aspects of roofing systems:

Distributors/Suppliers – Roofing distributors perform the very important function of a ready supply of roofing and waterproofing inventory, delivery trucks, technical expertise and extending credit to firms in the roofing and waterproofing industry.

Manufacturers – Manufacturers of roofing and waterproofing materials, and the components to assemlbe the system, including garden roofing components, photovoltaic panels and adhesive systems, gravel and ballast, reflective coatings, provide CRCA Member Distribution with products plus technical innovation and expertise.

Manufacturers Representatives – The roofing and waterproofing industry uses a mix of company employees and independent manufacturers representatives to market their products. Both methods provide support to the Professional Roofing Contractor, installing all types of roofing systems.

Consultants – Roofing Consultants sometimes work with building owners and managers, roofing contractors, and architects providing consultation services to the industry.
